A new product has been released by Virtual Shape Research GmbH: VSR Shape Analysis 1.0.
This plug-In based on Rhinoceros 3D contains functionality to analyse Curves and Surfaces following several criteria such as:
- Sections, Dynamic Section (with optional Curvature plot on top)
- Curve and Surface Matching Analysis (Checks numerically Position, Tangent and Curvature continuity)
- "Lightlines" (Simulation of Isophotes)
- Deviations (between Curves, Surfaces and Meshes)
- Curvature on top of Curves and Surfaces.
All Analyses can be saved across sessions in the Rhino-3DM-file. They follow associatively all shape modificiations.
