What is the user benefit of the new product "VSR Shape Modeling"?
The creation of Curves and Surfaces is done under full control of the user. The complexity of the shape can be adjusted to the geometrical requirements and wherever possible simple geometry ("Single Span") is created. Embedded analysis functions and the possibility to play inside the dialog based commands with different shape variants combined with local Undo/Redo allows a high efficient workflow. The "Global Matching Analysis" command for the check of whole parts and functions to create geometry on top of meshes are completing the plug-In.
With the dynamic associativity and the possibility to keep the analyses across sessions it is very simple, to keep them as permanent companion during the shape modeling. So the efficiency of the daily work and the quality of the achieved results are drastically increased.
What position takes the new product "VSR Shape Modeling" in the VSR portfolio?
VSR wants to add functionality in the areas of Visualization, Free-Form Modeling and Shape Analysis. This functionality is a useful add-on to the existing functionality of Rhinoceros. The first VSR products, the "VSR Realtime Renderer" and "VSR Shape Analysis" are already available for a long time. With the new product the portfolio of VSR offers a consistent approach to offer high-end Class A modeling functions to a very reasonable price.
Of course the development will not end with this product, based on the permanent feedback of our users we will continue to deliver.
