Our mission

Virtual Shape Research is developing and marketing CAD software in the areas of Visualization, Free-Form Modeling and Shape Analysis. We want to improve the daily job of designers in terms of quality and efficiency.

Our approach is to offer solutions that are more modern and by far less expensive than other available solutions. So our product range will also be interesting for users and markets who where for cost reasons not able to use existing products.

Our background

We are a team of developers having more than 20 years experience in the development of 3D CAD software. We did work for companies like Dassault Systems, PTC, VW -Gedas, T-Systems, AutoForm etc. We have been deeply involved in the development of the product ICEM Surf and implemented solutions for Catia V5, Pro/Engineer and XV5.

Our offer

• Virtual Shape Research is authorised reseller of the CAD software "Rhinoceros^®". This product, developed by the company "Mc Neel & Associates" in Seattle, USA, is in the meanwhile with more than 300.000 users a kind of industry standard in the industrial design area.
• We are also developing plug-ins for Rhinoceros 3D. So if you have a need for a specific plugin on the technical basis of Rhinoceros^® or OpenNurbs please contact us!
• We have large experience with the day to day software usage in the process chain Styling/Surfacing/Visualisation/Tool Design. So we are able to offer competent consulting to analyse existing process flows and to suggest solutions for seamless data and information flow.
